Special Projects
Below are projects Ms. Clausius produced at Cobalt Studios, as part of either class projects or for Harvard's "Hasty Pudding" production.
Bistre project, concept was to paint all warm and cool shadows, then lay over translucent color. Project is based off of "The Lybian Sybil" by Michelangelo, 4'x5'
Reproduction of a De La Tour painting in the Chiaroscuro style, 4'x4' painted on black velour.
A multi-step project. First building a decorative sculpture out of found materials. Then painting a coating texture of plastic varnish, paint and walnut shells over entire surface. Finally lighting the sculpture and painting a light and shadow study. (4'x'4)
